There are many accessories used for making a Garment and just fabric. if users can be allowed to integrate & assemble accessories in their finished product it would be highly useful.

The same should be applicable on printing where the admin can enter the inks being consumed to process per unit and the media per sq m or m, accordingly the inventory can be reduced. Please have this incorporated.

Zoho - what is the status on this? It's getting ridiculous that nobody has responded to anyone here in over a year. Somebody must have a relative estimate on when you plan to launch this feature? I own a software company and understand it's hard to provide estimates but you have paying clients that are all waiting to make business decisions for their operations.. I've been waiting well over a year for it now, I am starting to loose confidence it will make it out this year... or ever... PLEASE give us some feedback. thank you

BOM contents (including serialized parts) need to be editable even if transacted upon, unlike current Zoho Inventory composite items functionality, otherwise this is pointless for manufacturing use.

We've already dropped Zoho CRM. Inventory is next on the chopping block if you can't support these basic features.

What is the status on this project? We manufacture skin care products and need complete batch record which include, bill of materials, batch records where we can associate ingredient spec and certificates of analysis to the production batch, scheduling into production, corrective action or some rejected material process and more. Is this all in the version that is being worked on? Again when is the anticipated release date for the manufacturing version?

my request for any new feature along the lines of manufacturing is to make the composite item become "boxed" on an event trigger and not be manual.
Seeing the demo, "boxing" the composite item is a needless extra step for us and a dealbreaker.
It would be nice if the composite item could be automatically boxed on any of : sales order creation, invoice creation, shipment creation. which seem flexible for many workflows.

2017 is here. Will Zoho MFG capability be added and be part of our business plans in 2017? This is a long time coming, and is absolutely necessary before small manufacturers or any businesses that create items that include services or non inventory items as part of the end product. Very few products consist of only items that took no labor to produce. Please update us on whether this is really coming or not, so we can plan.
