Add another columns next to the "quantity to pack" column in Packages
We cannot add columns currently we are stuck with the pre defined ones, this is our URGENT REQUIREMENT.
While creating the package I want to add another columns next to the "quantity to pack" column
I want to add column named "packs" for the items;
example how many packs will be there say 10 packs for item A, 5 for item B etc, or column like "weight"Or atleast give the option of adding description with respect to the items

allow bulk adding categories
When importing/updating item price lists, the "Category Name" column looks like it is getting imported but somehow there is no category assigned when looking at the resulting inventory list. It looks like each individual category needs to be created BEFORE import otherwise it will be ignored.
My item categories are set by my suppliers and new ones get added fairly regularly. I don't want to manually add 2000-odd categories to my list of categories just so that the data will import properly.Please "auto-add" any new categories shown in the "Category Name" column of the imported csv file.

Automated the creation of a bundle (BUN-XX) for composite items bought via API.
When a sale order with a composite item enters zoho inventory via API, a bundle for the number bought is created (while stocks last)

Total invoice for all the shipments made to the same customer within the month
In our business, (components for electronics) we have many shipments within the same month for the same customer. We never send and invoice for each shipment, but the system creates one total invoice which includes all the shipment made to the same customer within the same month. It would be a huge waste of time and paper to have one invoice for each shipment and our customers would not accept it. The invoice has to resume all the data: package slip #, pagage date# and all the items, customer sales order# etc.

Item description should be included into the line item description of each item. Currently only the name is being displayed and if one uses a code for the name no information is available for the product on the line summary description when all items are being displayed to really let you know what the product is.

Have a backorder feature
When a SO is confirmed mark all items in that SO allocated, if stock allocation level falls below zero the item would become backordered. Then have a centralized list when one could go see any items that are backordered and have that integrate with PO's, so once ordered it would show as "on order"

Composite Item Groups & Editing Afther Item Group is Created
Greetings,
I would like to Create Composite Item Groups
They don't need all the articals assigned instantly but having the names all listed before adding subarticals is practical for overvieuw purposes.Also not being able to add additional items or edit prices in the Item Group window is not practical.
Now you need to know in advance everything you will need to add or redo it. Or add and edit 1 artical at a time which is time consuming.5 votesThe idea has been moved for development.

Multiple product aliases Mapped to a Inventory product
As merchants advertise across a variety of channels, it is often necessary to create an alias of a sku that maps to a single inventory item.
For example, as you know with Amazon, there could be several different listings for the same inventory item. To be competitive on Amazon, I want to find all instances of a product and sell mine too. In order to do this, I have to create different SKU names. Even through the SKU is different, they really should map to a single inventory item in the inventory management platform.

I want to be able to add Sales Order and PO number to shipment email notification
The idea is simple I want to be able to add sales order number and reference number or po number to the email template for shipment notification. Currently all you can put is shipment number. It would help me and my clients to know considering most people that I know of going mainly off there PO number not the shipping number.

Allow Custom Page Layout
I'd like to see the same Page Layout functionality that is in CRM (for modules) make it to Inventory so that I can create my own page layouts for sales orders, packages, etc. This would allow me to control which fields are on the page and where they are located. It would also allow me to apply different layouts in different situations, such as by user/profile/group.

Bulk update product images!
I have over 3000 products once all the variations are in... WHYYYYY!!!!!! doesn't the Item group allow you to load an image so that I do not have to .... ONE BY ONE... load product images onto over 3000 products! The sync process was horribly painful and I've lost 2 days just trying to get my products into the system, only to find out now that I have to hand load product images... SOOO frustrating!

Central Distribution Purchasing
Would be nice if you could have inventory levels (min/max) tied into the generation of purchase orders - where running purchase orders are being generated and tied to various warehouse and bin locations and can be released for order by a user. Would greatly help us minimize outages and back orders and help us to maximize our purchasing power.

separate item sync from item creation
I would very much appreciate if when zoho synced with my ebay/amazon, it didnt create new items in my item groups and items, most of my listings are actually composite items and not singular in my inventory tracking
Maybe include an option to create a list of items available for creation/linking when the program syncs but let me choose what happens
Im open to suggestions and thanks for reading

Sync Payment Confirmation of Sales orders
It would be much appreciated if when Zoho synced with eBay and Amazon it didnt just create Sales orders as most of the time the order is already invoiced by ebay/amazon and paid for before it even syncs. Its very confusing to the customer if they get an invoice from someone other than the shopping channel they purchased through, especially if they already paid, it will seem like we're trying to "double dip" from them and will earn negative seller reviews/scare them away
so is there any way to get Zoho to sync that orders are already invoiced, paid for,…

Integrate with a free sales tax lookup system like www.sale-tax.com.
Alavara is very expensive and aggressive sales reps. :( very unhappy dealing with them. I just want a free simple sales tax lookup. I do my taxes myself but they refuse to let me have a login for that. I can only use the free web tool which won't integrate with zoho. Please integrate with their free lookup api, or pick another company that offers free tax rate lookups.
