Add contact or company name field to the "Ship to" address field
There's no name associated with Ship to address field right now, may be different than the Bill to contact person or company name.

Download Sale Order PDF with Open Positions/ Packed / Shipped / Invoiced
Our orders are quite big so sometimes we're not able to ship everything at once, so we make different invoice and shippments
.
It's really useful to see on every Sale Order how many items are Packed / Shipped or Invoiced.It would be amazing to download this view as a PDF.

Allow to choose an item group when creating a sales order
This should dropdown the items under that group during the sales order and allow you to pick the quantity for each one of item by attributes.

to add Purchase Request and Item indent in Zoho Inventory
In zoho projects / Zoho inventory, for Construction industry, there is no tracking of above. Material BOM's required.we cant use Projects / Inventory completely. Please add the above.

Allow Custom Document (Sales Orders, Invoices, Pack & Ship) Creation
Current functionality appears to allow you to 'customize' only existing templates for Sales Orders, Invoices, Pack and Shipping pdf documents and you can only customize certain fields and not others (such as custom fields). I'd like to be able create my own custom template of the document like you can in CRM so that I can freely add and remove fields and change the layout.

Email notification whenever a package is created
Auto email the package pdf whenever a package is created to specific email ids, the email will act as a notification then we can generate the invoice of the same

add picture to entire item group after it has been created
Would like the ability to add a picture to an entire item after its been created. I can upload a picture but I have to go through each variant in my case I'm using a size variant so going through each variant to upload the same picture is a bit tedious

allow bulk adding categories
When importing/updating item price lists, the "Category Name" column looks like it is getting imported but somehow there is no category assigned when looking at the resulting inventory list. It looks like each individual category needs to be created BEFORE import otherwise it will be ignored.
My item categories are set by my suppliers and new ones get added fairly regularly. I don't want to manually add 2000-odd categories to my list of categories just so that the data will import properly.Please "auto-add" any new categories shown in the "Category Name" column of the imported csv file.

consigned items
Is there a possibility that certain items can be taken out of the warehouse and consigned to a reseller? Given that there are multiple resellers, having so many warehouses cannot be a good option. As an alternative, is it possible to have "locations" like racks and bins in a warehouse?

Add another columns next to the "quantity to pack" column in Packages
We cannot add columns currently we are stuck with the pre defined ones, this is our URGENT REQUIREMENT.
While creating the package I want to add another columns next to the "quantity to pack" column
I want to add column named "packs" for the items;
example how many packs will be there say 10 packs for item A, 5 for item B etc, or column like "weight"Or atleast give the option of adding description with respect to the items

Add direct Chat Support
Please add a support chat within Inventory (and actually all the other apps). It will decrease the amount of emails sent back and forth and speed up the fixing of encountered issues.

Allow and item to be Inventory Tracked, but not sold.
This will allow for better use of composite items that are raw materials that get converted into finished goods. You don't sell your raw materials so why would they show up on sales orders.

Add Vendor field to inventory report so that it can be sorted/filtered by vendor or exported to excel
Option to add additioanl fields to inventory reports such as Vendor or custom fields eg best before date. Ability to export this information to excel so it can be sorted by vendor etc for stock checking/re-order planning

Create assemblies out of existing products from Shopify
I use shopify and I've integrated both systems to track the stock of my products. However, I manufacture them, so I'd also like to track he material stock. I've seen the way of creating new item assemblies in zoho inventory, but I've not seen how to create assemblies from an existing product/item from shopify. The idea is to keep track of all materials in zoho inventory and do not upload that info in shopify. I'd like to know if it is possible to do that, and if not, if you would consider it as a future update.

Editable "Ship to" Address in Package Slip and Shipment slip
Dear sir,
We are into Offset Printing Services, We need to ship products in different locations from a single SALE ORDER. As an example, we have an order of 3000 brochure to ship in 10 different location (300 each) in India. We are unable to edit the "ship to" address in package slip and Shipment slip. Kindly help us for the same.6 votes
