Make Projects button like the estimate and invoice button.
I keep finding myself having to dig into the Timesheet or some other added step to find projects. Why not just have a button like the other items?

Assign due date to tasks
I'm just working through your app to see if it can suit my freelance studio's needs...
The one thing I haven't been able to work out (and maybe it just isn't there?) is how to assign a date to a task.I mean that would be great in managing tasks and seeing the deadline approaching.

Entering budgeted task times in finer increments than hours. Want possibility to enter minutes
When I create budgeted hours (when creating tasks in a project), I would like to be able to enter hours AND MINUTES. I can only input in hours. Often I have smaller tasks that can be completed for example in 25 minutes. Then I would have to enter 1. Or, for example, "01:15" is not possible, I would have to enter "2".

Add variables for the first and last date from the logged work records
When you create a new invoice from the logged work on a project, you can choose between some variables to use as item name and description. The range variable only shows the last date, it would be nice to have a real range, showing the data from the first record and the last one.

Fee cap & timesheets
It would be great if the option "billed by prject hours" could be combined with a "fee cap" option, which is very often used with law firms. This would allow to show all time entries on the invoice (which could accumulate to let's say 20k US Dollars (and therefore showing the client how much work has been done), while still only invoicing the fee cap of let's say 10k US Dollars. Alternatively, it could be realized by allowing to show "time entries" on the invoice for "fixed fee" projects.

Hi. Let me just say your feedback and suggestions portal, and promptness of reply, is spot on. Can I please suggest for the web version in the Timesheet>Projects list we can organise the list in terms of date, where most recent projects appear at the top. Thanks

multiple timers
It would be nice to be able to run multiple timers when tracking project tasks. I frequently multitask several things at once, and would like to be able to keep a running timer for each task, both for the sake of billing the client, and for tracking time/cost ratio's.

Allow quick switch between timesheets
Is it possible to have a way to switch quickly between the timesheets of different clients/projects as I work on a number of projects throughout the day and have to switch between them very frequently.

allow for entering administrative time
this feature is helpful for seeing how much time is spent working on administrative items that are not related to a project or billable.

Create a task for Projects in Zoho Invoice based on the associated custom field in Zoho CRM
What we want to achieve is when we create a task/event in Zoho CRM with new custom fields to match the fields in Zoho invoice, it will create a task in Zoho invoice (timesheet) for the products.

Be able to enter budget time for a task that is less than one hour
When I want to set budget time for tasks (when creating a project), the minimun amount of time is one hour. I often have tasks that are less that one hour. For example 20 minutes. I would like to be able to enter time less than one hour.

Project invoiceing date
For my projects, they often start 6 months to a year in advance of completion, and have multiple updates during that period. The projects always have a hard end date, so would there be a possibility of adding an "invoice by" date, and setting a reminder for these projects?

workweek start day set by individual Projects
We are a staffing company, and as such, we have to collect our field employee's hours in accordance with our customer's workweek. Some of our customer's workweeks start on Monday and some start on Sunday. The workweek start date is a global variable in Zoho Books/Invoice. link with my location to create a project
I drive up to a Site, hit make new project, and Soho uses my location to display local businesses- i tap on the one i'm about to enter to do a service call, project is generated and timesheet begins timer for hours on that project. if i forget to stop the timer, it logs when i've left location and closes the timesheet.

Please restore the little time clock next to the item being timed. Having the clock only in the lower left corner isn't good enough.

It doesn't tell me what I'm timing, and isn't visible enough to even inform me that I'm timing something. Getting rid of the clock icon is a mistake; please correct it.

I want to send my income & expenditure to my accountant how can i do it

If you wish to send the details of your invoices and expenses, you can very well export them in the CSV or XLS format and send it to your accountant. You can refer this help document to know the steps to export your data.

While choosing to export the data, you can set a custom date range (“Current month” in your case) and export the invoices/expenses created in that range alone.
You can also try generating the “Invoice details” report and “Expense details” report and export it if that would suit your needs better.

With this idea its easy to do an invoice because now i need to see all days from workers and answer the material for a long proyects.1 vote
