  1. A registration link so clients can create their own account

    I would like a way I can send my clients a link so they can create their own account on the client portal to save me from having to create an account for them and then send them a link to it.

  2. Customer Messaging in Portal

    I am a psychotherapist and often have to share HIPAA material with clients. I know we did some kind of HIPAA compliance form when I first signed on with Zoho.

    It would be great to be able to message with clients within the portal. They could be emailed a notification of new messages.

    Attachments would be big plus.

    Wir möchten klarstellen, dass auf dem Kundenportal in Zoho Invoice auch die Details zu den Kundenguthaben angezeigt werden.

    Wenn Ihre Kunden die Credits im Portal nicht anzeigen können, wenden Sie sich bitte an support[at]zohoinvoice[dot] com

  6. Custom Tab in Portal

    I would like to see a way to have a new tab that I can fill in any details about this customer I want to share with them in the portal. Currently, the portal custom fields are editable by the customer and show up in other places. As a web designer I have hosting details and other links I want to have for each client so they can see them.

    This is a good place to keep these notes and links but there is no way to do this now.

    It would not have to be a new tab but…

  7. 2nd level authentication by using stored keyword at Zoho

    Webroot, a high quality AV provider, use a stored keyword for 2nd level authentication. Users are asked for say the 2nd and fifth letters. Next time it might be the 1st and 6th letters. Simple, very effective.

  8. Statement Credit or Outstanding

    It would be great if the customer statement could show an amount owed in red text and if the customer is in credit then black text. At the moment the figure is a minus when the customer is in credit and they believe they still owe monies.

  9. Terms & Conditions

    It would be very helpful, that when a client enters the portal to ACCEPT an estimate, they can also check a box for TERMS and CONDITIONS that shows their acceptance - also - it would be nice to attach a file to that that pops up and show them the specific terms and conditions for acceptance. Exactly like you have on this page for submitting your ideas.

  11. See client portal "from customer point of view"

    There appears to be no way that I can see a client's portal from their perspective. It would be very good to be able to see (and check) what each client sees when they access their portal view.

    Therefore, please can you consider, for each client, having a "view client's portal" link against each client entry for which the portal is enabled?

    Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.

    We understand that you wish to take a look at the client portal interface so that you can have a clear idea on what the clients can see and how.

    Though there is no direct link to view the portal interface from a client’s perspective, you can take a look at our help docs which explains each and every section of the portal along with screenshots.

    To take an even closer look, you can create a dummy contact with your alternate email address and try enabling portal access so that you can test everything out before starting off your actual invoicing.

  12. Translation of payment page when customer portal is not used.

    In those cases where customer portal is disabled, if a customer clicks on paypal button (the one included in the PDF file) then it redirects to a page in a different language than the one choosen on the customer profile. I think it is in the language of my account. For example, i have a customer from Brazil (portuguese language) and the payment page has all texts in Spanish, which is confusing for non spanish speakers.

    Thank you for posting on our feedback forum.

    Since Zoho Invoice focuses on the sales cycle of your business, purchase orders is not a part of it. However, you can very well use Zoho Books for this.

    Zoho Books is an accounting tool and a super-set of Zoho Invoice. It can help you manage both the account receivables and payables. Hence, you can easily create purchase orders too.

  15. Allow portal to be embedded onto external website

    Currently the client portal cannot be embedded onto external websites which means I cannot offer this feature through my website - clients need to access the link which then opens in a new scree/window...would be great if i could embed the portal into my website for smooth customer service

  16. Timesheet - detailed report & progress bar on "Client Portal"

    I'd like to have within the "Client Portal", the possibility to give access our customers to the detailed timesheets (per project) as well as having the "Logged Hours vs Budgeted Hours" progress bar (per project) on the home page

    As an IT service company, we work a lot with prepaid upfront contracts. Customer sign a contract with an amount of work hours, then we have to deliver the job, and send a detailed report to our customers in order they know, in detail, what was done, when, and also the remaining time left on the contract

  19. Contact person needs to be separate for invoicing, estimates and client portals

    We deal with large companies and we contacts should not be able to see each other's invoices / estimates, etc. They should only see their own. They all belong to the same company, but they work in different departments.

    You should also be able to address email templates to the contact person and not the organisation.

  20. Allow clients to review service even without the client portal access

    I love the idea of using Zoho Invoice to collect feedback from my cusstomers. My business is a business in which we process one transaction with the customer, and we don't have any more business with this customer for several years down the road. Requesting my customers to create a user name/password for client portal doesn't make sense.

    I would like to see the client review functionality to work without enabling the client portal for my customer. This would allow business es like mine with one time customers to request feedback from the customer.
