  1. Opening Balance import for AR

    Hi,

    Opening balances of AR are not good and competent to the statutory requirements.

    1. In case we update the AR balances of a customer by mentioning the date of the invoice and invoice number will allow us and the owner to see the ACTUAL AGING reports and help them to report under MSME and Companies Act with Accuracy.

    2. In case of mentioning the bulk amount under the opening balances FAILS ZOHO BOOKS to generate accurate AR/AP Aging reports and also mislead the Owner, Statute and Auditors by giving false information.

  3. e-way bill generation for Stock Transfer(Transfer Order as per ZOHO)

    As of now there's no feature to generate e-way bill from ZOHO Books directly. It will be helpful for lot of businesses if you enable this feature.

  7. Add a list of values to a custom field

    In the custom fields for items we use a classification value which is usually out of 4 or 5 choices. it would be great to create a list of values for the custom field like the data validation feature in excel where you can have a drop down list under the cell and just pick a value from there.

    For example, When creating a new item I like to classify them as 'Spare Parts', 'Electric tools', 'Pneumatic tools', 'Consumables' etc. Its usually something out of those values so rather than having to type it in everytime I create a new…

  8. Allow DXF files to be attatched to inventory items

    Allow files with DXF extension to be attatched to inventory items. This would turn the Zoho Inventory into a powerful BOM tool for manufacturing businesses. Each product could have its respective drawing and dxf file attatched for production reference.

  9. Please include invoice status as "Closed with CN" instead of showing "Paid"

    When Invoices are closed with CN, invoice status shows as 'Paid' which creates confusion like payment is received by bank or closed with CN? We have to open each invoice to check the payment mode. 'Paid invoices by bank' and 'Paid invoices with CN' can not be filtered through "Status" as there is only one status "Paid" for both.

  10. Allow multiple social media accounts into single brand

    We need the ability to add more than one account per social media platform into a single brand instead of creating multiple brands to manage. This is standard business practice today! Zoho, we know this has been requested for years now.

  12. Show Previous rate

    Show Previous rate of an item to the same customer given in previous invoice ( so we dont have see the previous every time). And also automatically pickup tha previous rate in the new invoice.

  13. Extra item in inventory that can be sold with out purchasing

    Make place for yield (of a crop/ live stock) as an item in inventory. Now only purchased items or combination of purchased items can be invoiced.

  17. Customer statement should show all outstanding invoices, not just in the month selected

    It would be useful for my customers to be able to see all their outstanding invoices, not just the ones in the month(s) selected.
    When we get statements from our suppliers I find this feature very useful.

  19. Send a reminder users when a recurring invoice is nearing it's end date

    If a recurring invoice is for a set period that is to be renewed at the end of the time period, it would be helpful for the platform to notify the users (us) that the end of the recurring invoice is near dependent on the frequency.

    So for instance is the recurring invoice is setup to have a monthly frequency and is for 12 months, when the last but one invoice is sent a renewal reminder can be sent to us that the recurring invoice is due to end.

  20. Mobile App Version - Need to add option to enter Customer name and related project for items while creating BILL and project for invoice

    While using mobile app version of zoho books
    We are unable to enter customer name and project for each item while we make BILLS
    We are also unable to add project number while we make invoice for multiple items

    We have this option in the Website online version where we are allowed to enter customer details column while making bills and also we can add additional information while making invoice. we need the same option while we use mobile app version
