  2. Sending bills created to vendor by mail

    Hi,

    I would like to have the feature where you are creating the bill on behalf of the vendor and can send them a copy of it, just like how an invoice is mailed to the customer.

    The reason is, we at Homely (https://homelynow.com) are into services of providing curated Homemade meals through our website. Now the customer selects and places the order. We deliver by picking up from that home chef and delivering it to that customer directly.

  6. Allow the users the option of making line item level discount as "only in percentage" or "only in rupee" or "both" in the preferences

    Settings -> Preferences -> General -> Do you give discounts? you can only select one (Radio Button) of the 3 options:
    1. I don't give discounts
    2. At individual item level
    2a. Do you give discount in percentage
    2b. Do you give discount in value(rupees)
    2c. Do you give discount in percentage or value(rupees)

  8. Reconciled journal entries should not show as available to match to banking feed

    I entered a few manual journals in my checking account, which I could not match to the downloaded feed, because the feed would not allow me to partially match (the feed transaction was split in two, and the journal was one journal entry, so I could not match). So I disregarded the items in the feed and just reconciled the journal entry. Now when I go to match new transactions in the feed, the reconciled journal entries show as available to match.   10. Currency symbols for all prices

    At the moment, in templates a currency symbol only appears in the total amount/sum. It would be helpful to have currency symbols for ALL prices like item prices, taxes and discounts (if given as amount and not as percentage) and subtotals as well.

  12. Expand search in Purchase Bills> Items> Customer Details

    While we do Purchase Bill entry, you allow us to add Customer for each Item but if I try to search customer by Last Name I get no result. Pls allow us to search customer by any field (First Name / Last Name / Company Name).

    If we change Reporting tags, the historic data changes because the Tag is relational as opposed to attached to each individual historic transaction.

  18. Allow discounts at both the individual item level and at the invoice level

    We know that Discounts can be applied on two levels in Zoho Books:

    Item level - Discount is applied individually on each item in a transaction.
    Invoice level - A discount is applied on the total amount of the invoice.

    It would be better if we allow users to select both options simultaneously.

  19. Add alphabet search bar for customer and vendor views

    On the Zoho Desk App, there is an alphabet on the right side of the screen for the customer tab. You can click on a letter and it quickly pulls up all the customers that begin with that letter. It would be great to have the same function in Zoho Books. Then I wont have to always use the search bar to find customers. I can click on the letter, and then scroll down using my mouse. It would be quick and save time. I get tired of using the search bar to find everything in zoho books.
