  1. Add an Item Code

    I would like to suggest to please add an Item Code. For now, we are using the Item Name as our Item Code. When we generate the "Inventory Summary" or "Inventory Valuation Summary", it only shows the Item Name as our Item Code and product description are not shown. If you can add the "Item Code" then I will revise all our products to its correct code and Item Name can be the "Product Description".   3. Allow better reading of .csv information from quickbooks

    Allow me to import all of my inventory data from quickbooks enterprise solutions.
    -Item Name/Number
    -Manufacturers Part Number (MPN)
    - Unit of Measure (U/M)
    - Description on Purchase
    - Description on sales
    - Cost
    - COGS Account
    - Preffered Vender
    - Sales Price
    - Income Account
    - Asset Account
    - Reorder Point (Min.)
    - Max to order
    - Quantity on hand

    Also easily editing multiple items at a time would be very helpfull. Like using an excel program within the item list.

  4. Balance Sheet

    When we take Balance sheet in reports, Even Zero accounts are appearing. If the account balance is Zero no need to display. Please check.

  5. Billable Item Markup or Margin

    In the items section, Zoho has the ability to make it a two sided item (meaning it can be a sales item or a purchase item).
    This would be great if the concept could be taken to its logical conclusion.
    If we think of a single transaction going through all the stages, we see that
    A quote can be converted a sales order, and it uses the sales side price.
    A sales order can be converted to a purchase order, and the purchase side cost is used
    A purchase order can be converted to a bill
    But a bill cannot…

  6. SKU

    I'd like to display the Sku on every documents that shows items (invoices, orders, etc.).

    It would be great if CRM and Books could sync every fields they contains.

  7. "Tax Inclusive" by default

    In the settings there is an option, which we can choose (1) tax exclusive or (2) inclusive or exclusive. Now the GST has implemented and we are all supposed to raise tax inclusive invoices. So along with these two options, there should be an option which is always tax inclusive.

  10. ORDER STATUS BY ITEM

    An order view based on status by item would be great. When you view the transaction section of an item it'll show open/closed for each order, but the order could be open due to a different item. The same problem applies when doing an advanced search by product and status.

  11. Display quantity sold and received in return against and item

    Items section should have fields showing QTY of an Item bought, sold and received back in return (not only show the final stock).

    Same should be available in sale by item report(customisable).

    It will also help analysing the best selling/low selling/satisfactory/Nonsatisfactory Item etc.

    WHEN WE ADD UNIT VALUE OF A PARTICULAR ITEM SAY DOZEN OR KG BUT WANT TO SELL IN INDIVIDUAL PIECES OR IN MILI LITRES IN TERMS OF A LIQUID ITEM WHICH IS NOT POSSIBLE IN ZOHO BOOKS,I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE MAKE UNIT COLUMN EITHER AUTOMATIC,FOR EXAMPLE IT SHOULD KNOW HOW MUCH PIECES A DOZ CONTAINS ETC.,OR PROGRAM IT IN A WAY WHERE USER CAN DO IT.

  14. available for sale

    in Custom View we can add "Stock on Hand"..
    it would be great to add
    - "Commited Stock"
    - "Stock Available for Sale"

    We have many confirmed sales orders daily, and its difficult to know the Stock we have available for each item. The only way is to open each item one by one, and it is time consuming.
    In an Spread Sheet, i'm able to visualize what is really available for sell, will boost productivity to make best decisions.

  15. edit item

    Should be able to link a downloadable document from the documents folder to items. For example - we have items that when selected always require the same PDF to go out with the estimate. Would be helpful to be able to attach these to the item to save keep reattaching every time!

  17. Committed Stock

    Our Items are part of Composite Items too. When we need to assess committed stock of an item, we are having to search at item level and then at each composite item. This causes efforts and delays.

    We suggest that based on the committed stock of the related composite item, the committed stock of the item should include the committed stock of the composite item where it is going to be used.

    For example, if I have a product named X which is in use in a composite item named Y. If I have 20 number orders for X and…

  18. Stock Journal

    I am a manufacturer. Many different components are utilised to make one finished products. Tally has a feature called as Stock journal, wherein several components are clubbed to together for one finished product.
    example : 1 cabinet, 1 pair of hands, 1 glass,1 movement,2 batteries, etc ( all procured from different suppliers) is converted into ONE WALL CLOCK.

  20. make items searchable by transaction.

    I need to be able to find invoices, estimates and bills by item number or description. being unable to edit items that have existing transactions, I would like to be able to search for the existing transactions that the items has been used for.
