Link One Vendor with Various Customer
For e.g. I have one vendor with whom I purchase 2 different item and that item I sell to 2 different customer. Now Zoho has limitation that 1 vendor can only be linked to one customer , it doesn't allow to link same vendor with other customer of mine.

Big Flaw Importing Customers via CSV: only one address field
Guys, there's a big flaw when importing Customers via CSV. There's only one address field for customer address. Almost everywhere: PayPal, eBay etc etc. there's two lines for the address: i.e.
Billing address first line
Billing address second linePlease add one more map field so that the address could be imported properly as now we have to use "billing attention" as the first line of the address.

Sort by transaction date in "Recent Activities"
Details listed in recent activities list for the contact are order by the date the transactions actually happened. It would be useful to be able to sort these by accounting date instead.

Create group of contacts in order to list them by that group. For example i have 7 forwarding companies. and i would like to list them by that group.

Allow a contact to be associated with multiple estimates / invoices etc.
Each contact should be able to view all the estimates / invoices they are associated with, because once they start to be a part of different projects with different clients, we will not be able to have so many email ids for one contact for them to view all estimates / invoices etc. they are associated with.
So when a contact is associated with many different estimates / invoices etc. he / she will need only one email and login to access the portal and view all associated estimates / invoices etc.

Import Customers and Vendors from Zoho CRM
With the recent change to how we view contacts all imported contacts from Zoho CRM are entered in as a customer. We used to be able to tell Books which accounts are customers and which are vendors. We need this ability back not all accounts are customers or we need to be able to tell the sync how to map CRM accounts into customers and vendors.

when I enable the portal for a contact, the possibility to restrict the view to one or more specific projects and not for all items
As subcontractor, it would be great to allow one or more contacts to see specific project and not all stuffs in the portal. For example we often have projects which involve 2 differents companies and several departments and it would be important to authorise more contacts to have access to specific projects and not to all items.

Custom Field Types - Include Image, File Attachment, Text Area
Sure this would have many uses, though for me one of the biggest would be to enable these additional options within the client portal.
They could be used for client specific terms and conditions, contracts, designs, allowing much more to be obtained by the client in the portal.

block customers
Give an option to block certain customers. For example make sure that sales can't enter an order for a customer that didn't pay his bills. Now you can put a customer on inactive but if you create an inactive customer as a new contact the system allows it (even if you uncheck the box for allowing duplicate contacts) and the order can be entered anyway without sales knowing that the customer is blocked.

Test features mode
I created 2 fake contacts to test features before sending to actual clients. Now I can't delete them because of the "transactions"

marking customer as inactive automatically
Option for marking customer 'Inactive' automatically if there is no transaction in the account or invoice goes unpaid after custom specified no of days.

Unique ID for Clients and Vendors
How about we add a new feature so that we can differentiate between different customers and vendors using there unique ID. We are able to do this somehow using the custom fields but is really not helpful for existing customers.
So if we add an additional feature that would help us find the customers/vendors using unique ID that would show up in customer portal as well as the contacts to identify that particular user or vendor with different prefixes i.e. a different prefix for a vendor and a different prefix for a customer should add a great value.

Auto Show Books Contacts in Zoho Support Desk.
By This Feature No Need to Create Contact Details 2ndTimes. and also assgin task for customers and easily billing after completeion of projects or task.

outstanding balance next to contacts
I want to see the past due or overdue balance next to the name in contacts as we used to in zoho invoice but now we went to zoho books and it doesnt come up,

Add ability to edit the CRM data in Books
Some data is being synced back to CRM but not all. You should be able to edit / update the CRM details for a contact (such as Industry or source).

create an option to view contacts by last name first, or first name first.
Since we don't have parent/child options, this would at least allow us to see the members of one family that have the same last name together.
