Report > Account Transaction > To add Description next to Transaction Details
This feature allow user to see the description of transactions. For example, a transaction was committed to account "Repairs and Maintenance" but need to show more information for this transaction like it was a renovation the office or air conditioner maintenance.

Trial Balance: Initial and final balance for each account
In the trial balance of the reports section, it would be very good if there was a column before the debit with the balance of the period selected and a column after the balance with the ending balance of the period selected of each account

Display information in description field in general ledger automatically
To display information in description field in general ledger automatically allows users to have quick idea of the nature of the transactions. It save user's time to understand the nature of a particular transactions, and allow users to compare and scrutinize the overall transactions in a particular account.
Actually, this is a common and a must function of any software providing accounting information!

All sales reports need to take into account "Sales without Invoices"
Working with a Non-profit where the majority of sales are donations we enter sales transactions using "Sales Without Invoices". Problem is that when you need to report on Sales by Customer no record of the "Sales Without Invoices" is displayed.

Profit & Loss Report by Reporting Tag
So I have only 1 Tag active out of the total 10 available and have about 30 options under that tag.
I would like to have those 30 options appear in separate columns, like a table or matrix.
Currently appears as:
Account, Account Code and Total.
I would like it to appear as:
Account, Account Code, Tag 1 Option 1, Tag 1 Option 2, etc.
Would make reporting really easy for Simple Job Costing or Project Costing.
12 votesHi all,
We have the option to run the Profit & Loss report based on the Reporting tag.
You can customize the P&L to filter the transactions for the chosen Reporting Tag.Have a great day.

Trial Balance should provide ending balances
The Trial Balance only shows total debits and credit. Why isn't there another column for ending balance?

Put the reporting basis on the P&L Report
Would you add the reporting basis to the header or footer section on the Profit & Loss Statement so it shows whether the reporting is either accrual or cash basis?
This is important in the U.S. because it impacts certain taxes and the reports must support the numbers submitted to the tax agencies. The reports also become permanent records in case of future audits.
I personally have no preference as to where you have the report show the reporting basis. It could either be part of the report title or somewhere in the footer section.
3 votesHi there,

In the profit and loss account - can we see the sales in two parts - Domestic and Exports
In the profit and loss account - can we see the sales in two parts - Domestic and Exports
1 voteHi,
To show the Profit and Loss statement separately for Domestic and Export you can make use of Reporting tags. You will have to associate corresponding tag to each transaction so that you can generate P and L reports based on the tags associated.
