  1. Easy-fix Reports: Simply add Date Customization a "Project Details" as already in "Timesheet Details"

    We need to generate (for clients and ourselves) an overview of the Timesheet details for a certain project and period.

    However, under "Reports" / "Projects & Timesheets" / "Project Details" the "Customize Report" Setting as in the next menu below ("Timesheet Details") is missing.

    It is currently not possible to generate a report based on projects just for one month. It currently simply states it for the whole lifetime! This just doen't make sense an is certainly very easy to fix.

    Just please please please add the "Customize Report" Setting on top also to "Project Details" so one can change…

  2. If multiple reporting tags are used to customise a report, the report should present separate columns for each reporting tag.

    If you want to see separate data extracts or separate report data for multiple reporting tags you have to extract one at a time.

    A user called Hester raised this issue in January 2017 but from the response I see, the query was not closed appropriately.

  3. It would be great if reporting tags could be associated with any transaction in the subledger

    The reporting tags are very powerful in itself, but the implementation is still quite restricted. It would be great if we could associate reporting tags with entities (i.e. customers, vendors, employees, products, purchase orders, sales orders, estimates, and projects). All transactions will get stamped with the reporting tag. A hierarchy of defaults and overrides is followed: if there is a customer reporting tag for location, but this is not present in the product, the sales order line transaction of the product gets tagged with the customer location.   5. Detailed P&L and Balance sheet reports

    There needs to be an option for 'detailed' reports, specifically P&L and Balance sheet. Currently you have to manually click on every single account and generate the report, which could take over an hour depending on how many accounts you have. However, in QuickBooks, this option is built in and automated.

    Create a report that shows the dollar ($) value of a company's total number of recurring invoices. This would allow better cash flow forecasting.

  8. a single export to PDF option that PDFs reports for specific periods to their individual reports instead of having to generate each report

    a single export to PDF option that can generate a PDF report for each of the reports for a specific period eg a financial quarter so that they can quickly be shared with accountant

  9. User activity log

    Would be nice if we could see the activity of a user in a log.
    This will help rectifying conflicts in a multi user environment. For example an item or contact or document is deleted and multiple users had previliage to do that, it is not possible to know who did it

  12. Timesheet Calendar View Filters

    I need to enter my hours in with my client in their reporting system, and I would love to have the option to filter inside the timesheet calendar view. It's a lot of switch back and forth right now.

  15. Cash flow statement (indirect vs direct method)

    For the CASH FLOW STATEMENT, which Zoho Books uses the "indirect method" there should be an option to choose the "direct method" also. Both are legal.

  16. Detailed Sales by Customer

    A detailed Sales By Customer where the items they have purchased are listed and can be grouped by Reporting Tags. This would allow faster review instead of having to look up each invoice as it is now.

  17. DELETE scheduled reports

    We should be able to Delete scheduled reports instead of only being able to mark them Inactive. Inactive is useful, but eliminating the clutter of unused reports by deleting them would be very helpful and User friendly.

    Ability to change the display of negative numbers in settings on say a Balance Sheet to this format (246.00) instead of -246.00. Most systems have this option as it is more commonly seen on financials. Sage & QB both have it.
