Selection of Debtors & Creditors in Journal
In the Zoho books, there is not possible to select Debtor or Creditors in Journal Module, so kindly allow us to select the same.

Upload Budgets in Zoho Books from Excel
Creating budgets (sales, expenses, etc.) in ZOHO Books is manually 100% except for auto complete. Also, if you want to download it, you'll only have the PDF option not Excel or CSV option, which is not friendly. Please create the option to upload and download budgets from Excel or spreadsheets because that's the software most people use to create, analyze and modify budgets. Thank you!

ITR automation
It will be good if you can automate calculation of income taxes as per ITR requirements, even if it comes at a slightly higher cost. You can define categories for various income tax heads etc. and define rules for each. I had developed an automated taxation system (used to populate ITR from payslips) when I used to work with KPMG taxation. I thought this feature would have been readily available in Zoho books, but couldn't find it.

TAX management in Books
The possibility to track taxes in 2 separate accounts for inbound / outbound is a nice feature, but it needs to be improved to make it more usable (at least for EU)
1 - be able to have sub-accounts in the inbound / outbound tax accounts. All EU accountancy uses different VAT accounts for different TAX % + intra EU tax + outside EU TAX which have to be declared differently.
2 - for the items, it is highly possible that the inbound and outbound tax are different. So a separate field for Purchase tax would be a great addition.4 votes -
Ability to edit Chart of Accounts with out system account types
Need the option of making the systems' pernament account type,names not visible at all when you don't use them. Especially when you want to print all the columns. It's very confusing. Even though you don't check the "make active' box, it's still shows up

Allow an Accounts Receivable ledger which shows Customer total (currently the total per customer does not show)
Four our auditors it is a requirement to show a ledger which shows the Accounts Receivables sorted by Customer with a total balance for each Customer. Currently the ledger can only be created without the total per Customer.

Lock Functionality for Accountant
2 different lock functionality
Lock 1 - affect all users except accountant user
Lock 2 - affect all usersWith the above Lock 1, accountant can review the accounts and make changes easily but not other users.
Current lock feature is Lock 2.

interest calculate for unsecured loans option should be added.
please add a feature to calculate the interest. Another account app gives this facility. so Zoho should also add this basic feature. We are using Zoho Books paid subscription. id is agolecha@arfashions.in

There should be an option of import/export to tally for accounts and inventory
Most CAs use tally and force business owners to share their data in tally

Customization or Need some update
Hi,
Not able to create the ledger individually and Salaries we could not make Employee name. How we can get the each employee statement ?Rent exps - If we have 2 different office & Landlord. We need to have different ledger under their names. But In zoho we could not make it.

would like Zoho Books to add 2 features 1) profit and loss sheet in percentage 2) Balance sheet all month wise
We want 2 separate features should be added by ZOHO , Balance sheet and profit and loss sheet . So that we can compare month wise easily . Integrate these 2 ideas in ZOHO

Access to consultants / outside organization
We have external consultants works for us to maintain accounts and audit. We do not have the feature to invite them here in Zoho Books. If the feature is enabled the purpose of subscribing zoho books will be resolved.

Flexibility to use account names as sub-accounts under multiple parent accounts
It would be very helpful to have the option of using the same account name within different types or Parent accounts.

Off-set entry. This is a basic feature and I am surprise that Zoho books doesn't provide this option.
One of my customer paid on behalf of another customer. I received the money in bank from customer A. Now I want to transfer the money of customer B from Customer A account.
In Payable account also, one of the vendor provided the services that were awarded to Vendor B and were paid in advance. Both Vendor A & B agreed on this and the amount that was paid to Vendor B got transferred to vendor A by B.
If I want to post these adjustments in Zoho Books, how will I be able to do it without the option…3 votes -
