Unit of measurement
after Quantity there should be UOM (Unit Of Measurement) Column to mention the quantity is nos or meter or Square meter or Lot. Presently nothing is there

Not sure if this will help but here we go. In "Settings->Preferences->Items" you can "Add" custom columns with many types of data and any label you would like to give it.
I have a pest control company and I add a column for "Pests" so I can type in the type of pest we serviced. -

but the qty also need to be calculated and convert to the right qty. for example you need to be able to buy or sale by lb and kg.

i too need this feture, estimate and invoice template must have option to add unit, SAC / HAC Code column .

hello. I really would need this feature.
I sell my products as pieces, but also als boxes (6 pieces per box). I would need a possibility, where I can put on Invoices either pieces or boxes, but it influences the same product on the stock!

We are a project company supplying and installing the materials. We supply some materials in 'Meters' and some as "Numbers" and few as 'Sets' or 'Lot'. But i could find any option here in invoice template or in Purchase order template to incorporate this. IS it possible to incorporate this before or after the qty column.
