Payroll Options
Would like to see a payroll service implemented; Maybe not a true payroll but at least the ability of tracking payments to employees without making them a vendor.

Must have for Australia please! You already missed the massive Single Touch Payroll government requirement, a lot of customers started to move to other accounting service providers.

Payroll UK, it's a must for ZoHo user in the UK market. Or integrate with other UK PAYROLL providers such as KeyPay, SD Worx etc

This would be great to add for the state of Iowa - even if it's just the ability to import my payroll data into the program. Please consider adding it!

Just saw that Zoho Books now does payroll in both California and Texas. WELL DONE! Can't wait for Florida to be available.

UK (seeing as filing of HR electronically is mandated). Would be really nice to tight integration of Zoho HR (and the sub con/temp one - which should be included in Zoho One hint hint) and Zoho Books.

KeyPay looks interesting. Do you know if it integrates with Zoho Books, Daniel?

You need to integrate with KeyPay.
It has a full REST API that does all of the required payroll functions including standard tax office reporting for UK, Australia and USA.
In a twist of irony, KeyPay is the payroll platform used by QB (that everyone raves about).

Dear ZOHO-Team
As a partner we could barely generate sales pitches here in Switzerland, because there aren't any options for payroll. Zoho Books has a big lack in competition to other ERPS without that. As other votes mentioned before, at least some basic functions for payroll would be awesome. And maybe you can set it up more open so that the accountants from diffferent countries can customize it as they please. Would love to hear your reply. -

Could someone show me a demo on Zoh payroll

Forget state/country specific statutory compliances. ZOHObooks can have at the least basic features like:
Employee Data, Attendance & relative Salary, Pay Slip, Employeewise Statement
WITHOUT THESE BASIC FEATURES ZOHOBOOKS CAN'T BE CALLED AN ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE/APP

Kick Intuit's butt, by adding payroll functionality. I know that you are going through the states albeit slowly...You may want to step up production on this to compete with QuickBooks online. I think with proper payroll you can go head to head with them any day of the week because your product and various integrations are much more customizable and functional.

You system, is almost perfect for Australian small business. The fact there is no payroll means you will not take ground on Xero until you have a payroll function. If you do add payroll then you will have all the functions needed in a small business that handles inventory, where as Xero do not do inventory well.

Australian payroll would be swell. Any idea how far away this might be?
We are getting by using KeyPay in conjunction with Books, but its really not ideal.
