Allow the use of custom domain name for portal URL (http://xyz.mydomain.com)
Would be great to be able to invite customers on a portal URL such as 'portal.mydomain.com' instead of 'https://books.zoho.com/portal/mycompanyname'.
Zoho is already doing it for Zoho Connect and Zoho Support. Why not for Zoho books?

I find it ridiculous that if I have a custom domain setup with CNAMES (books.zylker.com) that I then have to add ANOTHER folder on top of portal AND it can't be something basic because it needs to be "unique." So now I have the custom URL of
books.zylker.com/portal/zylkerWe should just be able to do books.zylker/com/portal
To add insult to injury, you can't do something like books.zylker.com/portal/books because the system says someone else already has that. No, they don't. That was the whole point of setting up a custom domain. The custom URL looks trashy. Sorry.

A Custom URL might also sort out the issue of integrating multiple portal Books instances to a single CRM. I have an issue where I have created a link to the books Estimate/Invoice/Sales Order in a list view in CRM from 3 portals but I cannot create a clickable link as the Portal the user used last might not be the one that contains the invoice. Please update the URL to either include custom domain or the Portal Id in the URL so it can be linked to.

Exactly, for a client redirecting him to different domain to pay his invoices is not recommended especially if you are trying to integrate Books with your existing platform. any plans to add this feature?
