add remittance notifications
Having paid a vendor's bill, I want to be able to send them an email, notifying them, with an automated remittance notification listing the invoice(s) that have been paid.
We've just moved from Kashflow, and it was a very easy process: make a payment, click the email button, and it would send the email automatically. There was a template we could edit to customise the message, and the remittance was attached as a pdf.

Hi,
We now have the option to send out remittance notification in Zoho Books. You can send a notification to inform the vendors once the payments have been made.
To send out the email, please go to Payments Made → Click on the email icon.
You can customise the contents of the mail notification in Settings > Email Templates > Payment Made Notification.

It's a real must, and so easy to add this feature, and we also need to be able to list the credit notes applicable on invoices.

YES, a MUST feature which should be implemented as soon as possible. Am currently using the same solution as Mr Bean, but it just disappoints when Z Books is such a class act.

I usually pay multiple bills for one vendor in a single payment. It is absolutely vital that I can send a remittance advice with a list of the invoices I have paid and the amount paid on each invoice. Currently I have to export the payment in pdf (in a template that looks terrible and does not represent our brand at all) and then send it.
Please add this functionality to Zoho and the ability to customise the information and layout for the remittance advice.

Essential for most users I think. 1 click rather than a 5 or 6 click operation of ...
Print or save it to a pdf, go your email client compose attach & send !!
It's available in most other accounting packages & we expect it from the software we've chosen & consider the best - Zoho books ! -

We totaly support this, it is so handy to be able to automatically send a remittance from the payment screen.
Currently to send a remittance it is very complicated and time cosuming. Try it if you don't believe me!!!!

Would be extremely handy to include an Option to email the Vendor just before I save the Vendor Payment.

I totally support this. An editable Remittance Advice Document that can be printed from either a Bill or a Payment Made would be super. The reason it should be available from a Bill is because I wouldn't want to wait for the payment import from the Bank before sending the notification and since payment is driven from the Bill that would be useful.
