Departments and/or Locations

Allow transactions/reports by department/location. In my case I have an engineering business and a farm that I run together but need to be separated out for the taxman. Other users may have several shops (for example).

I m using reporting tags, which is good for report. But i want to assign users to access only to their department files only. Currently i can only restrict them by module

I found that tags do work for reporting different sections (branch) P+L & Balance sheet.
The biggest issue is when a transaction is posted without a tag.
I generally got around that by associating tags at supplier/customer or item level.
It does work.

I tried using Reporting tags but reporting tags are not available in many reports that were already built in Zoho books. We badly need an option to create customised reports like we do in creator.

I have 5 branches. i should know the income generated in all the branches. Profit loss balance sheets for all the 5 locations, so that i will understand which branch is doing well. It is a must needed option please add it as quick as possible.

Reporting tags are used for this purpose whereby you can define reporting tags for departments / locations etc. and capture them while creating the transactions (some places they appear as ...or as reporting tag itself. and in reporting , most of the reports has this additional selection criteria appears for reporting purpose as well.
