This is very much a requirement. In a globally connected world, some of us who do business on a global level often have need to invoice in different currencies to the same client.
It is both inconvenient to set up multiple instances of the same customer, and makes reporting more difficult, as well as tracking.
This appears to have been an issue for a long time. Over 18 months and a real and significant issue has not been resolved.

This feature is very much required for running business. It is difficult to recreate same contact for different currencies. At the same time you have to calculate which invoices are pending the what is the total outstanding.

Please add this feature, we bill our clients in different currencies for different products and it's tedious to have to re-create the contact.

It will be very helpful.
Now we think about using the second organization for second currency.

We have different types of services at times for the same client. Some of these are billed in USD while others are in local currency. Due to lack of this feature we need to create two accounts for this client and bill separately.

This also distorts any reports when we look at say sales per client.

Martin, I think this is a great idea. Then we don't have to worry about exchange rate and all the work to set up the client again. Especially if it is a long time client, that could take forever.

I think we should be able to send out Requests for Quote so that we can always get the best manufacturing prices.
