E-invoicing Compliance for France and Other European Countries
I suggest that Zoho Books expands its e-invoicing compliance to other countries, starting with France, similar to what has already been done for Germany with the Xrechnung standard. With electronic invoicing becoming mandatory in France from September 1, 2026, ensuring compliance is essential for businesses to meet upcoming regulations.
After Germany and France, it would be logical to support e-invoicing in other European countries to help companies across the EU stay compliant.
If you agree, please add your support by clicking +1 so that Zoho prioritizes this feature!
Thank you!

Hello staff, could you at least communicate on the subject?
It's possible to find alternative solutions, I think it's feasible with Make or n8n, probably even with a custom function if you look hard enough. But it would be much better if you could offer integration.
As for Mollie integration, we're a bit left out in Europe. The competition is there other products in belgium are Pepol compliants, we love Zoho, but if you don't follow legislation, we won't be able to follow you, even though we love your products.
Best regards,

It would undoubtedly be urgent to set a deadline for the implementation of this feature, which is, after all, quite basic for a world-class software publisher. It's not as if the news came out in Europe just 15 days ago... In the absence of offering certified accounting software, UBL/XML electronic invoicing is fundamental. When can we expect a clear answer and a timeline?

As a certified ZOHO France integrator, our clients require electronic invoicing, which will become mandatory starting in September 2026.
In the event that ZOHO does not provide or implement the RFE (Electronic Invoicing Regulation), we offer a third-party solution that enables ZOHO CRM or ZOHO Books users to generate electronic invoices from their documents and manage their statuses — a system that is already fully operational.
ALTAÏS (www.altais.fr) and our platform www.Tout-pour-la-gestion.com have thus committed to ensuring our clients have a solution to prepare for the arrival of electronic invoicing.

In Belgium the deadline is January 2026, and there will be extra time needed to set this up and test it with whichever partner is being used. So for us we really need to have a solution in place from Zoho by July 2025.

I totally agree with you, Pierre-Henri. Zoho must address this issue and communicate their plans clearly to help businesses anticipate and prepare for the upcoming e-invoicing regulations. Without this, many companies may face compliance challenges.

If Zoho do not deal with this topic, Zoho Books will no longer be used for invoicing with the e-invoicing becoming mandatory
