Import and Export from Tally
If Zoho Books has to get accepatibility in Indian Market. You need to provide easy Export / Import option from Tally. Otherwise you can just forget it as 90% of the CAs use Tally in India

Your question is valid, but no one from ZOHO has responded to it. If ZOHO has to get acceptability in India, they have to get to the easy exporting tool from ZOHO to Tally. None of the CA will recommend them otherwise.

no CA is working in ZOHO books, there should be one button export to tally format.
currently i am very happy with zoho books, but i have changed 3 CAs , no one is accepting zoho books for auditing.
please try to understand. its very serious problem

if we have to do manual export or import of data why we switch to zoho books? its better to we stay on our existing software. Already using RPOS7 of Gofrugal Technologies and they having auto tally integration. auto import and export to tally. Please check the video.

the files from tally are downloadable in XLSX and when i simply convert to CSV and upload i get errors saying "there are blank headers... “ your customer care has no response to this. Its not an easy migration. Im ready to switch today and pay the amount but the data migration is a hurdle

It is anything but effortless. The process is very hard to understand and is time consuming. I was thinking it will just pick up the data folder and integrate within minutes. Here I have to do so many manual entries. I'm starting to regret purchasing Zoho books.
