Sharon Reuter—It is more the opposite of what you're saying. Surcharges are legal unless restricted by state law and are limited to 4% of the total transaction. Most states allow this, and it makes sense that they do. Using a credit card to pay for something is the buyer's decision, not the seller's. It is only fair that the buyer pays for any fees associated with a transaction if they want to use a credit card instead of cash or check, so the seller isn't losing 3% to 4% profit because of a financial decision the buyer makes on how they want to pay for goods or services.

As a business owner, we have charged these fees for years, so I don't complain when I am charged these fees from other vendors.

I can't say strongly enough how much I would appreciate automatic transaction fee updates onto invoices paid through the links in the invoice email. If a client wants to use the paypal or stripe links Zoho obviously knows that they're clicking on them and they should be able to make that calculation on the fly.

Not only for credit card payments. Please generally, also if there is a transport insurance, e.g.
Just a general percentage surcharge to the total amount.

This is a REALLY important function, and would be so easy to implement.
Customer invoices have payment options, but we're not able to include card facility merchant fees if the customer chooses that payment type, and thus lose money (sometimes large amounts) on the transaction.

Again, a feature that should have been implemented by now. This is going back to 2016 and I see multiple existing, previous or new clients still want this. Why has this not been made available?
