   Eg. I have seen Transaction categorisation. Now I want to allow one of my user to do be enabled with the option. It is better if the information is provided in the same section about what role is required for this action.

   My company business service is by annual subscription, paid in advance. It is really helpful if Zoho can create a deferred income report, calculate by days and months. Same to the depreciation/amortisation report. Apparently we have to work with spreadsheet to maintain this deferred income schedule.

5. Set defaults for Receive Payments: destination Account & Payment Mode

   PLEASE allow ZohoBooks users to set their OWN defaults for Receive Payments. I've seen others say things similar to this in these suggestion pages, but none that specifically list BOTH of these fields.
   PLEASE:
   (A) Allow users to set a default for Payment Mode. We receive payments SOLELY by check, and I want that as my default.
   (B) I want the default destination Account to be Undeposited Funds, NOT petty cash. No one would deposit a check to Petty Cash.

   By not permitting users to set their own defaults, Zoho is (1) adding steps to what should be a simple, quick process; (2) inviting user errors; and (3) causing users a lot of searching and fixing should they forget to change these fields before saving transactions - something undiscovered until the user tries to deposit the funds.

   With all the other suggestions for customization, some dating back years, I would hope that Zoho would give users what they're asking for.

    If we received invoice from our supplier and it contain trade discount then right now there is no such option to record such trade discount. But few of our clients are recording this discount in Discount option available while recording bill, But this impact there financial information as it result in incorrect valuation of inventory.

    But practically it is very harsh on them to follow what zoho want them to follow, i.e. they have to calculate post discount value for each and every line item of bill manually and then record it will require immense manpower.

    While all the other accounting software provide option to record trade discount we as a consultant facing hardship in referring this software to our clients despite of lots of benefits.

    I hope you will consider this critical issue and resolve ASAP.

    Also provide an option so clients can give effects to already recorded bills.

17. Need Sales without Invoices button directly under Expense menu in Books!

    There needs to be a Sales Without Invoices button listed directly under the main Expense menu. Why this feature does not exist like it does for Expenses under the Purchases menu, blows my mind. It's literally 95% of ALL business transactions on the planet. We should not have to click into every individual bank account then click thru the Add Transaction menu down to Sales without Invoices link. The form to submit this crucial data can have dropdowns to select which Bank account and chart of account these sales transactions affect.
