Visibility of Reporting Tags
I wish reporting tags could be always visible in the edit window of a sales invoice, or viewable in a column in the column view of all sales invoices. I can't see a way of identifying which sales invoices haven't had reporting tags added yet, or of sorting sales invoices by reporting tag.

Reporting Tags- relational database
If we change Reporting tags, the historic data changes because the Tag is relational as opposed to attached to each individual historic transaction.

Allow Over 500 Options on Tags
We have over 500 properties that we need to track in Zoho Books. There is no way for us to that without us having to create multiple reporting tags. It would be great if you allowed us to create more than 500 tags.
Quickbooks allows users to have over 10000 classes which is a similar concept. We don't understand why you would limit the tags to 500.

In the All Transactions View allow changing of columns displayed to show Tags
Currently the All Transactions View of both the Checking and Credit accounts views have fixed columns. They cannot be adjusted to include or move columns. I'd like to see the Tags columns to see which transactions have been tagged.

we want to lock reporting tag once used for invoice and bill

Adding reporting tags in the settings in bulk (comma separated format)
Other Zoho apps have this option. Adding reporting tags in the settings one by one does not make sense. I have a list of more than a hundred tags that I would like to add at one in a comma separated format

Reporting tag mandatory and its visibility!
Reporting tag is a good feature provided by Zoho Books. However, we suggest you to incorporate following points to make it more helpful:
1. Make reporting tag Mandatory: Most of the time, while entering voucher, user forget to enter "Reporting Tag" as it is not visible on face itself and system allows him to save transaction without reporting tag. Please create feature to make it mandatory.
2. Make reporting tag visible on face of Voucher: Reporting tag is a significant information needed at the time of review and audit. However, every time we need to drill down the voucher to…24 votes -

Tags Assigning to Particular User
Tags Assigning to Particular User
We have different locations and want to assign each user a particular Tags so that he doesn't see and use other Tags for transactions belonging to their particular location.
This will help us in a better control of transactions belonging to different locations and will help in generating class-wise reports user, Tags (locations) belonging to other users.
Since this feature is not currently available in Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory.
It is requested that this feature may please be incorporated in Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory.

Reporting tags in transactions:
The reporting tag definition at the moment is at a transaction level and there is limitations to provide drop down selection type tag definition.
Most of the cases , the reporting tag defined is common for most of the transactions. e.g. , if i use a Profit center as a tag, i would like to have this in all transactions, similarly, a cost center tag might be used by most expense transactions. Also , when one defined drop down values in multiple places there could be a likely chance of making mistakes (lower case, upper case,…

Territory based tracking for transactions & contacts
i need every transaction & contact to have an assigned territory. then i need to be able to filter & organize my reports by territory. this field should be per line item on the transactions for max flexiblity, but a transaction level field is fine too if it means the feature is available sooner.
additionally i want to control user permissions by territory too (but that can come later).
