  1. Add ordering feature.

    Allow a customer to log on and choose what item they want to order. This would start a work order automatically.

  2. Timesheet/Support Staff User Role

    Be able to have more granular control of user roles, in order for employees (i.e. support team), not to be able to see sensitive information of the company (i.e. invoices, expenses, customer balances, etc.). In addition to current timesheet access, I would like to be able to give my support employees to:
    1. Create new tasks (currently they can only select from existing tasks)
    2. Have the ability to create Fuel/Mileage expenses when they travel to customer site for support

  3. Allow rename of Projects and Tasks

    After a project or task has been invoiced, you cannot rename it. While I can understand why (referential integrity in the database), this is a terrible restriction. Prior invoices with the old name shouldn't need to be affected, but sometimes details of a project evolve, and renaming is helpful (especially if you discover a typo).

  4. Create Complete Projects

    1. Create a Project, for example - Project A
    2. We will add, Client Details, Billing Address, Shipping Address, email Id, tel number etc. (this could also be an existing client in my contacts)
    3. We will also add other contacts associated with this project (could be new or they could be existing contacts in My contacts)
    4. We can then create estimates / invoices related to this project and its details.
    5. This way different projects with different clients or same clients can have common contacts, who can view all documents (estimates / invoices etc.) with a single login id and password. which is…

  5. add a little more project tracking into zoho books.

    I love zoho books for my small professional services business. I just need to be able to organize a project with tasks and subtask (or phases and tasks). If you did this, you would be the only simplified project accounting software on the market right now. Integrating project management with accounting would be so awesome!

  6. Ability to apply total budgeted hours per customer, not just project

    I have a client that does not want to exceed XX hours per month over all of their projects. It would be beneficial if limiting the total monthly (or whatever time period), could be applied at the top level of a customer and not just at a project level.

  7. Make the Calendar monthly Hours actually accurate

    The hours for the month-- listed at the bottom of the timesheet calendar-- is not accurate. The total includes hours billed in the prior month. Please make it actually accurate.

  8. Ability to save unit cost per user, per project.

    For projects, allow for system to store unit cost per user, per project. This is very helpful for sub-contractor jobs.

  9. Task pricing for Projects

    add the ability for a price to be entered into a specific task for a project and then carry that pricing over to the invoice when adding all unbilled time for a customer. right now you have to enter the price at the invoicing screen.

  11. Create users without inviting them

    I don't need you to confirm that my company email addresses work.

    I do want to confirm that Zoho works before everyone gets an email inviting them to join a system that is not ready for them. I want to set up all of my users and their projects and make sure everything works before I bother them with emails. But for no good reason, you're forcing me to send email invites to their actual email address.

  13. Choose which projects can be seen in the portal.

    Ticking the show projects in the portal will display all projects held for the client. I only want to share time billing projects not fixed cost projects.

  14. Task in the Timesheet could be categorized.

    When an Invoice is created, the item sold is assigned a category. We use these categories to evaluate revenue amounts by category.

    It would be helpful if tasks in the Timesheet Projects could be categorized also.

    Currently, all of the revenue received through projects tracked in the Timesheet area of Books appears in the uncategorized line item in reports so we can not tell what kind of project/revenue has been created.

  15. Customize views to filter by customer

    It would be ideal to have additional filters for projects, so that you can view all projects for a particular customer. This is particularly useful for those of us with multiple projects per customer and multiple customers.

    Currently the PO number can only be entered on invoices. It could be defaulted from a corresponding project.

  17. Allow to enter notes in weekly time log

    It only allows project, task, and hours. If I could enter notes right there, too, it would be great.

  18. Projects - Bulk Actions

    Ability to bulk add/edit/delete tasks and users within projects. For example, when a new employee joins our company, we have to manually add this user to each existing project - one by one - which is time-consuming when you have 500+ projects. There should be a way to add the new employee to projects without having to edit each project individually.

  19. the option to convert an estimate into project where each line item would become a task

    I would like to create an estimate to send a client and once approved convert into a project so the hours can be managed. Each line item in the estimate would be a project task. Once the project is complete convert to an invoice and send.

  20. Marking project complete

    Request you to enable an option to staff for marking the task as complete and a mail should go to the admin for confirmation of the same
