  1. Simple calculation within number fields (like quickbooks).

    Enter 2+2 in the quantity field, hit enter and the Quantity shows 4. Sometimes bills have line items of the similar things which we just lump together thing. Extend the calculation function it so we can enter the total, the quantity and then per item price is calculated.

  2. Urgent Requirement for use of Zoho Books in Philippines - BIR Accreditation

    BIR Accreditation for use of Zoho Books in the Philippines,, as we would require the POS/Accounting system to be Accredited with BIR. If we do not get this sorted, then we would not be allowed to use the Zoho Books sytem. Request you to please take this as a priority as we would like to use Zoho.

  3. Easier entry of discretionary sales-surtax

    In the USA in Florida, each county is allowed to collect a small sales-surtax in addition to the standard state-wide sales-tax. Not all counties choose to collect an additional surtax, but many do. The amount varies from 0.5% to 2.0% if it is collected. When the sales tax is reported, the amount of surtax collected must be specifically stated on the tax return, and any amount with a surtax that differs from my business' county must be likewise specified.

  4. Allow sales-tax brackets for amounts less than $1.00

    In the USA, Florida (and I believe Maryland) require us to calulate sales-tax at the appropriate rate (county-specific in Florida) for whole-dollar amounts. Then, we must take the remaining amount that is less than one-dollar and look-up the appropriate tax amount in a table and add it to the whole-dollar tax amount to get a final tax total.

    Classifying a CHARTS OF ACCOUNT for taxes
    In our country if you sale something to a local customer you need to add 15% to the sales cost and charge that tax called GST form the buyer.

    When you spend money if you paid to a local seller he will also charge you GST.

    You then need to balance your GST expenses vs. your
    GST income and that would be your GST Debt or Return to the taxation authority.

  7. OFFLINE BILLING

    please give an option to be able to issue bills/invoices in offline mode also. Preferably by giving an optional syncing mode like in onedrive. This will allow us to issue bills during bad or no connectivity.

  8. Insert a "Late" column when listing all customer's payment

    When displaing the "Invoices payment" section it would be very useful to display a column "late" that can tell us how many days late/before the invoice wad paid against the due date.

  10. Add Selector Tool for Companies to Choose the States they Ship to

    Currently I only ship to a couple states but I have no way of stopping a purchase if a customer orders from a state I don't ship to. I really need this service to prevent bad customer experiences where I have to cancel orders. - Thank you.

  11. For any transaction provide the option to view the same in Journal format, by clicking on the respective sales / purchase / expense bill.

    While viewing any entry in one account, not able to see which are all the accounts effected in a particular entry of sales/ purchase/expense

  12. Cross exchange rate, please!

    I'm using Zoho Books in Serbia with EUR as the main currency. But the exchange rate for example 1 RSD = 0.008113 EUR is very unuseful because I need to setup an accurate end value in RSD. In this case usually we use cross-rate, for example 1 EUR = 123.0023 RSD.

  13. Make reporting tags visible on all SOs, POs, Invoices, and Bills

    As it is, you have to click on Edit for each transaction, and then on the ellipses next to each item, just to make sure every transaction is being reported correctly. You should be able to see if a reporting tag is assigned to an item just by looking at the item table on the transaction.

  15. Enable viewing folders in Google drive attachments

    When "Attaching receipts" to a transaction from google drive you cannot view via folders, you can only search via file name, makes it impossible to find the files and clunky. Its such a great feature but its not worth using without this simple addition to its functionality. Thanks!!

  16. Sub Accounts - Sales Purchases and journal entry

    I can see how to set up sub accounts and they look great and also how the roll up and reporting works which is great.

    But when you raise entries in sales or purchases or journals the sub account functionality is limited as you are unable to clearly select or navigate to a sub account

    You have to view the whole list which is not practical
    the entry screens need to be modified to split the coding structure into two columns one will be parent account and the second sub account

  18. Group transactions showing the total of grouped documents within

    In Contacts section, in the "Go to transactions" you grouped transactions in nice drill-down groups. Very Nice!

    Can you put nearby each header group a count of how many transactions are grouped?

    This way, we can avoid to open the Group just to chek if it is empty or not. Also to easier the tracking of documents.

  19. Posting Periods on Transactions

    i need a posting period on transactions so that i can track transactions by period regardless of the date of a transaction. for example, i have an invoice dated 1/1/2015 & another invoice dated 3/4/2015, and i want them both to post in FEB 2015 (because what period both are charging for). then i want to select FEB 2015 from a dropdown on each transaction. i want calendar months as my choices, but others may want years or quarters.

    & reports should be able to filter & aggregate data based on desired periods.
