Search with wildcards
It should be possible to search with wildcards. We have a database with 12000+ items.
Example: I want to add 'Stamp ABC 123 17mm' to a quote
When I search for 'stamp' it gives me 400+ results
Being able to enter 'stamp*17mm' or 'stamp%17mm' or 'stamp&17mm' and then narrowing the result list down to the matching results would really help!So please add a possibility to search for multiple parts in an item name description with one request.

Add a function to record sales items (i.e. photocopies)
I need to invoice photocopies and the like at a fixed cost but the number varies. I need to allocate these to my projects and ideally the date (in much the same way as mileage is recorded). Presently there is no way to do this

Extra warehoue in zoho books for a nominal fee!
Give 2 warehouse option inside ZOHO BOOKS for an extra nominal fee since people like me do not need your advanced Zoho Inventory subscription.. we only need 2-3 warehouse capability..!

In templates don't insert page break in the middle of line item descriptions
Our line items' descriptions often have several rows with text and when viewing the estimate/sales order/invoice as pdf the page break doesn't take line items in consideration, the page can break in the middle of a line item which makes it very hard to read. Please have the automated page break take line items in consideration and break the page either before or after a line item's description.

Near quantity add new column box, ctn, weight etc and it should count quantity automatically...
Please add one more column near item for unit for box, ctn, weight etc and it should count quantity automatically. Eg if I have 24 quantity in 1 ctn, then when i write 1 ctn quantity 24 should come automatically...

How do I bring the sales and purchase accounts codes through from the item to the sales invoice?
All the items have a different sales and purchase accounts on their record. However these codes are not reflected in the sales order/invoice or purchase order/invoice. As a consequence they have to be manually coded at time of invoicing which leaves huge room for error.

Item on sale - price override option
Would it be possible to have a check box in the items sales information section, that would allow you to set a sale price which would then override any discounts or price lists set for an account.
More detail: I have multiple price lists setup for different size customers. My inventory will be over 2000 sku’s, but if I set the sell price at a discount, then when I add the item to a customers sales order, it will automatically apply another discount. Billable Item Markup or Margin
In the items section, Zoho has the ability to make it a two sided item (meaning it can be a sales item or a purchase item).
This would be great if the concept could be taken to its logical conclusion.
If we think of a single transaction going through all the stages, we see that
A quote can be converted a sales order, and it uses the sales side price.
A sales order can be converted to a purchase order, and the purchase side cost is used
A purchase order can be converted to a bill

Allow the "Use In Future" option when editing Items in Invoices
When I make an edit to in item in Invoice or Estimate It would be nice to have the option to "Use in Future" (Like you offer for notes) that would save the edited Item description for future use

Item addon
Like you operate in Subscriptions, for both Goods and Services. I have an Item listed as 'Boiler Service', some boilers I service have an additional part attached to them and for this I offer an addon. When I raise an invoice for a customer and add 'Boiler Service' as a line item I then want to be able to select any number of appropriate addons associated with that 'Boiler Service'.

Items need to have both a Sku and a UPC code option for scanning out sales
Items need to have both a Sku that identifies them with the manufacture for Purchase orders. Items also need to have UPC codes as well.. Manufactures have both of these codes for items not just 1.. The barcode (UPC "Universal Product Code") would allow to you scan the item out and the sku is for reorder and product identification.
