Implement departmental hierarchy
This will allow users in the same department/group to access only contacts assigned to or created by them. This is important for businesses such as lawfirms where departments own certain clients and don't want every company user to access them. I think you guys did this for zoho CRM and would be great for Zoho books.

Merge contacts funtion should be controlled through user privilege
Facing an issue with a user who has merged multiple contacts and there is no provision to reverse this. This feature to be controlled by user privilege since many users has given access to update contacts. Please consider this and do the necessary changes

Print a Contact
We are a gun club and like to verify members each month. You should have a way to a simply do a quick print of the customer (name, address, phone, etc) that can print during check in of the client, so they can quickly verify all their information is correct, like may dr's offices do. I would really like to see this feature soon. Thanks!!

Multiple Billable Addresses for a Customer
Allow multiple billable addresses for a Customer. There are many cases where a company can have multiple branches with different addresses. The invoice would need to go to the branch. You would still want to roll up the revenue by the customer inclusive of all branches

Put the total amount received back onto the customer summary screen
Hi, the total amount received / billed to a customer used to be displayed on the customer contact summary screen. Since the timeline has been added this has disappeared. Could it be added back in as our staff found it useful to see what a customer had spent with us when talking with them on the phone.

when I enable the portal for a contact, the possibility to restrict the view to one or more specific projects and not for all items
As subcontractor, it would be great to allow one or more contacts to see specific project and not all stuffs in the portal. For example we often have projects which involve 2 differents companies and several departments and it would be important to authorise more contacts to have access to specific projects and not to all items.

What has happened to Contact Pages? Its terrible!
It’s very difficult to navigate around the contact profile pages since the changes have come in to place last week. The contact details are not clear and you have to scroll far down the page to see all the information. The notes are elongated and very difficult to read. This could be resolved by removing the contact feeds from the page or adjusting so they appear at the bottom of the screen this could also be a tab at the top of the screen with the other tabs.

API for Client Portal Access
We need to provide users access to their Client Portal via API. For example, the user is listed as a contact for their organization in books, I want to send an API request to enable Portal Access for that user.

Send customers Sales Orders via the client portal
Currently you can send sales invoices and estimates through the Client Portal. Could you make it possible to send Sales Orders through the Portal and give them an acceptance button as with Estimates?
Client has developed integration through CRM and the ability to generate Sales Orders in CRM to be transferred to Books and if the client had the ability to see and accept through the portal this could make life very easy.

Allow a contact to be associated with multiple estimates / invoices etc.
Each contact should be able to view all the estimates / invoices they are associated with, because once they start to be a part of different projects with different clients, we will not be able to have so many email ids for one contact for them to view all estimates / invoices etc. they are associated with.
So when a contact is associated with many different estimates / invoices etc. he / she will need only one email and login to access the portal and view all associated estimates / invoices etc.

Better contact search
It would be very helpful if you could search three fields when using the quick search feature. I would like to be able to enter a name in the quick search field and have it check the contact name, email address and company name fields. It seems to currently only search the email and contact display name.

increase the number of contacts
Limit of 50 contacts is really low. Quickbooks has unlimited even for the simplest version. Why can't you make it the same?

To not chose "taxable" or "not taxable" when creating customer.
Sometimes it's taxable sometimes it's not. Also below 30k revenue there is no need for taxes and above there is. So that's not something that depends on the customer

outstanding balance next to contacts
I want to see the past due or overdue balance next to the name in contacts as we used to in zoho invoice but now we went to zoho books and it doesnt come up,

Sync Zoho Books contacts with both Zoho CRM Lead and Contacts
Currently Zoho Books only does have a job at syncing contacts with Zoho CRM. You can only assigned Leads or Contacts but not both. I think it should have the option to do both.
