What has happened to Contact Pages? Its terrible!
It’s very difficult to navigate around the contact profile pages since the changes have come in to place last week. The contact details are not clear and you have to scroll far down the page to see all the information. The notes are elongated and very difficult to read. This could be resolved by removing the contact feeds from the page or adjusting so they appear at the bottom of the screen this could also be a tab at the top of the screen with the other tabs.

Allow a contact to be associated with multiple estimates / invoices etc.
Each contact should be able to view all the estimates / invoices they are associated with, because once they start to be a part of different projects with different clients, we will not be able to have so many email ids for one contact for them to view all estimates / invoices etc. they are associated with.
So when a contact is associated with many different estimates / invoices etc. he / she will need only one email and login to access the portal and view all associated estimates / invoices etc.

Better contact search
It would be very helpful if you could search three fields when using the quick search feature. I would like to be able to enter a name in the quick search field and have it check the contact name, email address and company name fields. It seems to currently only search the email and contact display name.

To not chose "taxable" or "not taxable" when creating customer.
Sometimes it's taxable sometimes it's not. Also below 30k revenue there is no need for taxes and above there is. So that's not something that depends on the customer

outstanding balance next to contacts
I want to see the past due or overdue balance next to the name in contacts as we used to in zoho invoice but now we went to zoho books and it doesnt come up,

Sync Zoho Books contacts with both Zoho CRM Lead and Contacts
Currently Zoho Books only does have a job at syncing contacts with Zoho CRM. You can only assigned Leads or Contacts but not both. I think it should have the option to do both.

in the Contacts you have to add another contact type which is both ( customer and vendor in same time ) it is already available in mobile apps but not in web app

To add a field (zoho books contacts_id) to the sync going from Zoho Books to Zoho crm
Add the contacts_id number (Example: 72334000000024229) to fields that can be synced from Zoho Books to Zoho CRM
We need this for our API calls which all run from CRM.

Add the ability to make a custom field required for contacts.
In Guatemala a NIT number is necessary to be able to claim a deduction. I would like to be able to make a custom field mandatory, and make it show up everywhere the contacts information is presented.

Connection between administrator and more condominium (clients)
We have clients that are condominiums and they have an administrator, so we would like to have a connection so we'll can filter a lot of things about the administrator: the lists of condominium connect with him, the estimates, the invoices, etc...

Segmentation of accounts to user specific sales people to manage those accounts in say a different country or 3rd party distributor
So I have a distributor in the United States which I would like to have a zoho books login. I want to segment my overall account details such as turnover and only have this information available thats specific to him/her.
So when he or she logs in they can see the following:
Which customers are allocated to them
How many sales that customer has against their name
How many pending, sent and outstanding invoices their are.
Their overall turnover etc etcIn roles and specific roles this cannot be done as I keep seeing when I log into a test…

Hyperlink telephone numbers with <a href="tel:______"> </a>.
Hyperlinking telephone numbers with a tel: link causes the voice software on our computers (Cisco Jabber, MS Lync, Google Chat) to automatically dial out to the number.

Sort by transaction date in "Recent Activities"
Details listed in recent activities list for the contact are order by the date the transactions actually happened. It would be useful to be able to sort these by accounting date instead.

Recent Items Floating Tab
I'd like to see the recent Items floating side tab that we see in Zoho CRM giving quick access to recent contacts/bills/invoices etc as I find it speeds navigation tremendously

Add alphabet search bar for customer and vendor views
On the Zoho Desk App, there is an alphabet on the right side of the screen for the customer tab. You can click on a letter and it quickly pulls up all the customers that begin with that letter. It would be great to have the same function in Zoho Books. Then I wont have to always use the search bar to find customers. I can click on the letter, and then scroll down using my mouse. It would be quick and save time. I get tired of using the search bar to find everything in zoho books.

Salesperson set customer level
Wholesale businesses use a specific salesperson for each customer. Each customer's salesperson is used every order and every re-order that the customer places whether the order is placed with the salesperson themselves, by fax, placed customer service or even if it is placed with a different salesperson.
Because of this, when creating a new customer record, we need to be able to set the salesperson in that customer record and then each time a new order or invoice for that customer is created the new order will set to the default Salesperson which was setup in the Customer record.
