I would like to be able to customize more the templates of the invoices or estimates
I would need for example to show only the subtotal but not the total and taxes, stuff like that.

Archive Estimates or create custom status that can be applied. Also custom views. I need to be able to archive estimates that have been converted to sales orders and then invoiced.

mark estimates as invoiced or create invoice from multiple estimates
I frequently create invoices from multiple estimates. It would be nice to either be able to mark an estimate as "invoiced" manually or be able create an invoice from multiple estimates.

Customer can choose which items on estimate they want done.
Make a Check box next to each line item name or near the dollar amount so clients can "choose" which services they want done. especially for construction there can be alot of separate items that are quoted. Then make the total reflect the items they selected. easy. thanks.

Possibility to convert the Estimate in a Sales Order
I would like to have an option to convert the Estimate first to a Sales Order. And after that to an Invoice.
Now there is only an option to convert the estimate to an invoice directly

Estimates for Prospects or Leads
I am so grateful that Zoho CRM contacts can be syncronized with Zoho Books. Most of my estimates get sent to Leads though, and not Clients. This means I have to convert a Lead to a Customer prior to creating an estimate for them. When they don't actually buy, there is no way in CRM to revert them to a Lead, and I have to re-create them. This is causing a lot of extra work (both to send the estimate, and to revert them to a Lead) and headache.

Can't have the contact name in an estimate - note there might be a variety of different contacts within an organization and its more personal.

Estimates should not say "Bill To". Please change to "Attention"
I know it says in big letters "ESTIMATE" at the top-right of the page but above the client name it says "Bill To". This is contradicting as an estimate in NOT and invoice/bill. Please change it.
A client recently got confused and paid it as an invoice. Perhaps this is why.

Vat to shipping charge
shipping in the UK must have 20% added to it but when quotes the vat to shipping is 0%

add a Budgeting and Planning application
It would be useful to be able to take these applications and project results into the future with a Zoho budgeting/planning application. This application would also allow you to create business models based upon drivers/formulae using your own information or data coming from other Zoho apps. Functionality would also include a reporting function to extract data to create dashboards/scorecards as well as other analytical reporting.

Direct enter of 'amount' on estimates
Please create a setting that would allow us to enter the 'amount' on an invoice and not the 'per item' amount. Reverse the math.
Example: I enter the quantity of 200 and the amount of $459, the system calculates the per item cost of $2.295.
If this was a toggle option:
A: enter quantity & per item cost, system calculates the total (current set up)
toggle to
B: enter quantity & total cost, system calculates the per item cost.

Canvas View, in Zoho CRM lets us sculpt an exclusively personalized view of our CRM records.
It will be great to adapt it on Estimates, Invoices, orders...pdf export. This will be great to customize the way the invoices structure are displayed depending on the business necessity. Changing the alignments, margins of field types, grouping similar field types and much more1 vote -
