Item subgroups
I would like the ability to group items under subgroups.
For instance If I had a group named "Networking" it would be nice to be able to have more groups under Networking named "Cabling" "Switches" "WiFi"....
or my attempt at a tree view

One Inventory for multiple Books
Currently only one book can be synchronized with an inventory. We want to connect one Inventory with multiple Books licenses.

Template Package: why not more templates and more customization?
My request is to have more Package templates, with the same styles of other documents (Quote, Invoice, etc.) and have the same possibilities of customization of them.

CONSIGNMENT STOCK
A large number of producers supply on consignment to their distribution partners. This is not a taxable sale, and if it is treated as warehouse inventory then you will not know where it is or must treat hundreds of distributors as warehouses. You need a consignment feature with Sales that allows you to park and track stock at your resellers

WAC Inventory Valuation Method
We are following WAC (weighted average cost) inventory valuation method,but in Zoho Books only FIFO method is possible. Please let me know if there any way to get WAC values in the reports & for COS calculation.

An Item should not be duplicated if the purchase price of the item is different each time.
The purchase rate of the item can vary each time I procure that. Instead of creating a duplicate entry for the same item there should be provision of adding a different purchase price to the item already created. While tracking the particular item I should get a breakup of stock as how much quantity I purchased and at what price. It is becoming difficult as there are multiple entries of the same product.

Cost price and markup or margin on item section.
On the item section, there's only adding rate (like selling price).
Base on the cost or purchasing would be great feature if we can enter the cost price, setup the markup or margin and having group items. (like assembly line)
Also if you can add barcode scanning feature and or S/N with barcode would be great.
Right now I can only enter the selling price, and it's hard to remember how much was my cost or average cost and each customer can have different level for pricing.

I should be able to create nested item groups.
Currently it allows me to create only one level of grouping, i.e. create a group and bunch multiple items under it.
What we need is that I should be able to create a group, then create multiple groups under that group and so on. This will further improve our inventory management.
